I have visited many football clubs and found a lot of teams say they fade in the last 15 minutes of a game. With an additional 30 minutes to play in extra time, how do you as a player maintain your energy levels?
- Does your club suffer last minute goals scored aginst them? This may be an indication that your team is suffering from lack of energy to cover distances and speed on the pitch to cover runs and intercept the ball! Taking on board carbohydrate during a game would provide vital energy to ensure that you do not run out of energy before the game.
